Feel Better. Move Better. Stretch Better.
Do you work out but skip stretching afterward? Not quite where you want to be with your flexibility? Our Stretch Sessions are tailored specifically to meet your individual needs. During each refreshing session, a skilled instructor will guide you through a series of gentle stretches targeting major muscle groups — releasing tension, improving flexibility, and helping you feel restored. Relax and let the expert do the work. Sessions can be customized to target specific body parts in alignment with your personal goals, and are available at all six YMCA of the Fox Cities locations.

Why Add Stretch Sessions to Your Routine?
Stretching is often the most skipped part of a workout — but it’s one of the most important. Here’s what regular stretch sessions can do for you.
Improve Flexibility
Regular stretching increases your range of motion, making everyday movements easier and reducing the risk of injury during exercise.
Release Tension
Targeted stretching loosens tight muscles and releases built-up tension from sitting, training, or daily stress.
Speed Up Recovery
Post-workout stretching helps your muscles recover faster by increasing circulation and reducing soreness.
Personalized Expert Guidance
Every session is tailored to your individual needs and goals, with a skilled instructor providing focused guidance to help you relax, move better, and get the most benefit from your experience.
Complement Your Workouts with Stretching
Stretch Sessions pair perfectly with personal training, small group training, and your regular wellness center routine. Adding consistent stretching to your fitness program helps you move better, recover faster, and get more from every workout you do at the Y.
