The Energy of a Group. The Focus of a Trainer.
Small Group Training at the Y gives you the best of both worlds — the camaraderie and energy of working out alongside others, combined with the expert instruction and personalized attention of a certified personal trainer. You’ll sweat together, laugh together, and reach your goals together, all in a focused, supportive environment. With a maximum of 8 participants per class, our trainers can zero in on individual needs to ensure proper technique and provide real encouragement. We offer two Small Group Training formats: Synergy Small Group Training and Warrior Workout.
Synergy Small Group Training
Synergy is a 30-minute, full-body workout that combines cardio and strength training for maximum results. With a cap of 8 participants per class, your certified trainer can offer real coaching and encouragement to every person in the room.
Classes are available at all YMCA of the Fox Cities locations. To find class times, visit the full schedule and filter by your preferred branch, then select “Synergy $” under the class dropdown.
Warrior Workout — Ogden YMCA
Warrior Workouts are held at the Ogden YMCA and Valley Tennis Center in our one-of-a-kind Warrior Room. They are the toughest workout you’ll ever love — designed to challenge you in new and exciting ways at every session.
Warrior Workouts incorporate high-intensity interval training, Olympic lifting, plyometrics, gymnastics, bodyweight exercises, rowing, sprinting, and more.
Our trainers constantly vary the workouts to hit all major muscle groups through different planes of motion. Formats include AMRAP (as many reps as possible), EMOM (every minute on the minute), partner workouts, and team workouts.
