Available at the Appleton YMCA, NormaTec is used by elite athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts alike — and the benefits extend to anyone looking to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, or simply feel better. Choose from arm, hip, or leg sleeves to target the areas your body needs most.
Benefits of Compression Therapy
NormaTec Compression Therapy delivers measurable results for athletes and everyday wellness enthusiasts alike. Here’s what regular sessions can do for you.
Improves Circulation
The pulsing compression pattern stimulates blood and fluid movement, improving circulation throughout the treated area.
Reduces Inflammation & Water Retention
Compression helps flush excess fluid and reduce swelling, relieving the inflammation that slows recovery.
Flushes Lactic Acid & Toxins
The NormaTec pulse pattern pushes lactic acid, toxins, and lymphatic fluid out of the muscles and replenishes them with fresh blood.
Relieves Muscle Aches & Pains
Minor muscle soreness and aches are significantly reduced after a session, leaving you feeling recovered and ready to move.
Accelerates Recovery
Whether you’re bouncing back from a tough workout or managing a chronic condition, compression therapy speeds up your body’s natural recovery process.
Helps Prevent Varicose Veins
Regular sessions help improve venous circulation, reducing the appearance and formation of varicose veins.
Increases Flexibility & ROM
Improved circulation and reduced inflammation result in greater range of motion and flexibility over time.
