Our drop-in care programs are staffed by trained, caring team members who keep your child safe, active, and engaged. Whether you need a few hours of care for a little one or a place for your child to play while you work out, the Y is here for your family.
Our Drop-In Programs
We offer two drop-in care options across the Fox Cities, designed to give families flexibility without the commitment of a full-time program.
Play and Learn
Play and Learn is a licensed part-time child care program for children ages 6 weeks–6 years, offered at the Appleton YMCA. With a play-based curriculum rooted in the Y’s core values, Play and Learn gives children a nurturing space to explore, socialize, and grow — while parents get reliable, quality care on a flexible schedule. Registration is required.
Kids Corner
Kids Corner offers supervised drop-in care for children while you work out or use the facility — for up to 2 hours per day. Filled with developmentally appropriate toys and activities, Kids Corner keeps children safe, active, and engaged. Hourly and monthly draft rates are available. Kids Corner is offered at the Fox West YMCA, Heart of the Valley YMCA, Neenah-Menasha YMCA, and Ogden YMCA.

If your family needs more consistent child care, the Y offers full-time and part-time licensed child care options for children from 6 weeks through 6 years. Our programs are available at multiple locations throughout the Fox Cities and follow the same play-based, values-driven curriculum you’ll find across all Y child care programs.
