The Y’s 4K Wrap-Around Care program offers licensed before- and after-school care for children enrolled in a 4K program through their school district — giving families a stress-free, engaging environment for their child during the hours outside the classroom. Available through the Appleton, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, and Little Chute school districts, our program makes it easy for working families to keep their child in one familiar, trusted place throughout the day. All programs are state-licensed and staffed by trained, caring teachers who create a warm and nurturing transition between home, school, and the Y. Registration dates vary by district and open after each district places children in their 4K classrooms. If your school district does not offer 4K, the Apple Creek YMCA and Neenah Menasha YMCA offer preschool, PreK and wrap around care.

You must complete your child’s profile in your online YMCA account before registering. The profile requires immunization records, physician contact information, and emergency contacts — and all questions must be answered before registration is allowed.
Because our programs are state-licensed, we are required by law to collect this information. Completing the profile in advance lets you register the moment spots open at 6:00 AM on registration day.
We believe every child deserves access to quality care, regardless of a family’s financial situation. The Y’s Membership for All assistance program provides support for families who qualify. We’ll work with you to find a solution that makes Y child care accessible for your family — because no child should miss out on the foundation they deserve.
